how long should i wait to WAX?

Default how long should i wait to WAX?

I had my bumper repainted about 2 months ago. I was wondering how long i should wait to wax it with meguiars or something similar?

You should be fine. It was either 30 or 60 days you should wait...

Thanks. I just applied a very thin layer just to be safe. Im gonna have it professionally detailed to get rid of all the swirls and stuff this spring

C'mon man, you don't need a professional detailer. What, so they can use an orbital buffer? I personally avoid those, too easy to go through the clear coat.

I'm sure you know the process. Personally, I use a clay bar, some polish if needed, paint sealer, then synthetic wax, then carnauba wax.

its not that i just cant seem to get rid of the swirl marks. And i have taken my other cars to the same detailer before and they do a excellent job. Only gonna take it there once to get rid of all the swirl marks that came with the car

had my fender refinished and repainted. the shop told me to wait 30 days before waxing it

about 5-6 coats of zaino Z-5 should fill in all of the swirl marks. Then use Z-2 for the ultimate shine.

Wrong. Asked Sal Zaino himself several times. One week after paint job is enough time for wax or zaino
