Default Cleaning dried bug splatter off of clear bra

I've gotten a job out of town so I can't clean the Z like I would like. Any ways I'm now getting some bug splatter on my clear bra that I can't seem to get out because it's baked in the sun and the car is not sitting in the garage any more. Some times its weeks before I can get to wash/wax her.

I saw a post suggesting a "De natured alcohol" to use (couldn't tell by the response if this was a suggestion for bug removal from the clear bra or not) and was wondering if anybody had found anything else that might help in this situation. I've tried "bug and tar" remover but its not working...

If this isn't working, then you have some big bugs!

Have you tried plastic cleaner/polish on it? Meguires makes some good stuff. I would get a bottle of detailer spray and just wipe the front down once a day, only takes a couple minutes and it will keep the dead bugs from etching into the plastic.

Well I dont have a clear bra but I take a dryer sheet and put it in a spray bottle of about 8 oz of hot/warm water. I spray it on then use another dryer sheet to rub it off... Works great...

Hmm... That's the first time I've heard of using dryer sheets.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I tried the Turtle wax bug and tar remover ($3.00 at walmart) this weekend. Although it did a pretty good job there were some stains that had been on there for some time that did not/has not completely come "all" the way out yet. I tried several applications and would leave it on for some time before wipping off.

The PF TTR would probably be a good product although a bit pricey. Some times you do get what you pay for..

I haven't ever heard of the dryer sheet trick. I'll try it next time on the more stubborn stains.
