After viewing another thread on alternative uses of Zaino, I figured I would have to give it a try.
I awoke early one morning and decided it was time.
After browsing on the CD boards and the Zaino boards and after waiting for over 6-8 weeks, my CD from the Columbia House CD club finally came. I was one of the original pre-orders BTW. I ordered my copy of Britney Spears "In the Zone" (along with 12 other CD's). I consider myself one of the lucky ones who got the CD at MSRP. Damn ripoff artists at Columbia tried to get me to pay .02 cents but I held out and with help from the members of the CD websites (all the good guys over at "the House of Columbia"), I got it for .01 cent!!!
Here is the pic of "my baby" right after I removed the plastic protective cover (very hard to do BTW.....thanks to SeeDeeBoi for the advice and tutorial on the proper cellophane removal procedures!!).
PLEASE don't post here until I can get all of the pics up in order for the sake of continuity. Thanks!

I first washed with Dawn liquid to make sure I removed all traces of "Postal Rail Dust" and fingerprints.
I then did the claybar. I know this is controversial on a BRAND NEW CD, but I figured that it was a worth while step considering all I have seen on the websites.

I was pretty sure I got off all the junk on the CD since it's surface wouldn't bead water.
I then did the "hand in the plastic bag trick" and sure enough, smooth as a babies bottom!
No Beads!

I then allowed the Z5 to dry. Notice the thin layer applied in one direction (top to bottom) and not in a circular motion. On CDtopia, there are those that recommend using a Porter Cable random orbital CD buffer for this step, but mine, unfortunately is in the shop.

While the Z5 was drying, I went back and examined my claybar.
Sure enough, there was some stray binary code that had indeed been removed by the clay.
I therefore highly recommend this step, even on a NEW CD.

Maybe THAT'S why I am having trouble seeing right now!
omg that is hilarious! I agree with the others, Doc, I think you should start wearing your surgeon's mask while using Zaino products. The fumes are doing strange things to you
CD looks good tho! lol

Okay, Da Bonzer is a really good guy who has helped several of us on here.
Now he needs our help.
I will establish a website & PO box where we can raise the funds to get Bonzer into a detox (de-Zaino ?) center.
Hang in there, Bonzer, help is on the way.

Ladies and gentlemen...this thread is proof that extended exposure to Zaino is really, REALLY bad for you.
I expect an announcement from the Surgeon General soon.
