How to remove hard water stains on glass?

How to remove hard water stains on glass?
I tried the red tube of Mothers California Gold and it did absolutely nothing. Any proven methods for getting those spots off the glass?

I use Rainx in the spray bottle form, cleans the windows better than anything else I have used before

#0000 steel wool is used to clean glass also.
