Default Good rubbing compound that isnt too abrasive?

Hey I've been working on giving my silverstone 350z that mirror finish. Ive gone through with Meguiars Ultimate Compound then Meguiars Ultimate Polish and Meguiars Cleaing Wax. It looks pretty good but when looking at the car at the right angle with the right lighting you can see waterspots/scratches in the clear coat.
I dont want a compound thats overly abrasive but something that may be a little stronger than Meguiars Ultimate Compund.
Oh and I am applying it with DA buffer

2Bad did either of the cars have waterspots on the paint? Or just regular washing scratches in the paint? Also for the clay bar did you use an special lube or soapy water?

Here's mine. I used Griot's Garage Machine Polish #3 and Adams Americana wax. Both were applied with a Griots 6" DA Polisher. What kind of DA polisher do you have?

Korner I must say yours came out looking great.
Is Griot's Garage Machine Polish #3 very abrasive?
I am using a Neiko 7" Polisher with a wool buffing pad and foam polishing pad

Griot's Machine Polish #3 is not very abrasive at all. Griots has 4 grades of pollish, #1, #2, #3 and #4. The #1 is the most abrasive. I don't know anything about the Neiko DA buffer and I have never used a wool pad. I use Griot's foam pads or Lake Country foam pads. There are a couple forums that have a lot of good information concerning polishing cars. They are:

Thanks for all the links I appreciate it. I just recently learned different compounds having different levels of abrasives so there is a lot of information I now need to catch up on.

I used that meguiars clay bar followed by meguiars gold class waxs. I had to do it all by hand.
