Default Plasti-dip from previous owner a mess

ok guys im new to this site but I have been around cars since I was a teen and doing 95% of my own work . I just bought a 04 350z touring six speed with 20s from a younger guy . he sprayed the rims with this plastic dip crap whatever! he said it was easy to get off, think again my 2500 psi pressure washer will not blow it off. so today after a whole can off aircraft stripper, for one rim. I finally got it all off. the reason I had to do this is because the plastic dip started peeling off. think about it before you do it . its a mess to get off.

so, it started peeling and you couldn't peel it off.

It normally comes off fairly easy. It's a fun time to be had.

Your fingers would work better at peeling PD than a power washer.

Plasti dip is really quite a pain if you don't peel it before it becomes thin. After that kiss your weekend goodbye...
The only solution to getting the stuff off is either buying more dip and recoating the rims to make the coat thicker or buying dip dissolver.
Everything else does not work, goo gone, wd-40, ect...
