The instructions I got from Zaino said that Z5 is fine but that every application should end with Z2 because it has a better optical finish than Z5. I just finished my 3rd coat (first with Z2) and yes, it's pretty damn good.

you want z2 also. I've only used it once (one coat of z2 and z5), and its the only product I have ever used that made a visible difference. It really is THAT good!

I dont doubt the Z2 has the better finish. but as a fellow SB owner. I used Z2 in the beginning, and 2 months ago I got Z5. 10x better IMO. deeper sharper shine that really makes the black look great, also helps the never ending swirl mark battle we SB owners fight.

Z-5 and ZFX is a fine combination, I have many customers with black cars like myself who use nothing but the new reformulated Z-5 on them, but Z-6 is the REAL key, you should have got some Z-6 at least, I sell and use myself probably 5 times more Z-6 than any other Zaino product.

I have Z-1, Z-2, Z-5, Z-6, and Z-18(clay bar). I am looking into getting ZFX as well, and if you have that you have no use for Z-1.

You will be happy with your results. Like ares said, on a super black car, I like Z-5 the best over Z-2, but Z-6 is a completely different product and it's great in its own right.

yes it does. lol sometimes I feel like I'm at war with my paint. The more polish and various products I use on it, the better it looks but I continue to strive for a shinier finish. However I have noticed my black car looks better than most of the ones out there.

no good pics actually.

I need to wax it, but its been so cold. its incredable shine though, more so on the flat surfaces like hood, roof, and trunk. but they are amazing.
