What do u do about cleaning the small part of the body that the convertible top covers up? Do u put the top down to clean that small portion or what?

I've been doing the tonneau cover after I wash the car, with the top down. Just using a small microfiber towel to wash with and one to rinse.

I usually wash that last. I do not put thetop down since I don't want water from the wash getting in the top storage area.

I just start the top-down cycle until the rear edge of the top lifts up. Then I stop.

With the rear of the top up in the air you can clean the top of the hard cover AND clean the weather strip on the bottom of the top.
