Absorber
Got the Absorber at Wally World. Works great. Thanks for the advice.
Two Questions:
It doesn't scratch the paint, correct?
I dropped it on the ground after I was done using it, how do I clean it?

The Absorber itself will not scratch, but you do have to be careful about getting debris between it and the paint, but if you are a good car washer you should have removed all debris during the washing process.
DF towels and others will dry the car, but it is my personal preference to use the Absorber sometimes when I do not want to get my detailing towels wet. When done with the absorber, clean it, wring it out and store damp in the tube it came in. It is very handy to travel with also, if you have to wash your car in a hurry before a car show away from home you will be glad you brought it.

What were the instructions for washing the absorber on the package? Especially after it dropping on the ground? I left the intstruction sheath at my parents where I washed the car.
Thanks in advance.

Says to wash it out before first use as it is soaked in some kind of special solution at the factory, to use it the first time all you have to do really is wet it and wring it out. If you wash it, only use liquid detergent.
Heh, I've never run my probably 7 or 8 year old Absorber through the washer. I do hold it out in front of the hose, though, to rinse it out. I do that if I drop it, too. Since it has no nap, I can't see it holding much in the way of grit that won't rinse out this way.
I'm sure it isn't perfect and I should probably wash it on occasion, but I'm pretty comfortable doing what I've been doing.
