Claybar removes all old was and paint contaminants. Just rub the whole car while lubing it with water and a half cap of Zaino car wash.

Great shine. I don't think anybody is a Zaino naysayer when it comes to the results. They are always fantastic when the product is used properly. Reasons I've heard for people not wanting to try it include: price is more than they want to spend, requires more steps than they would like, or confusion over the different Zaino products and which to use when.

Clay removes paint contamination that is above the surface of the paint, swirls and scratches are below the surface of the paint. Clay will not help swirls... Swirls are scratches for that you need a mild abrasive like 3M Swirl mark remover or filler agent polishes like Z-5 (the new Z-5 is awesome at filling, it is the yellow colored stuff)

Zaino is not all that much more expensive than over the counter waxes at Walmart and much cheaper than other boutique waxes like Pinnacle and some other expensive versions of Zymol and others.

This helps explain the price comparisons (written before introduction of the one step ZFX vs. the two step every six month Z-1 system)

http://web.archive.org/web/200208111...e39/zaino.html

Zaino does not have any more steps than any other system, as a matter of fact has less steps than the 3 step systems sold by Meguiars and Mothers. And Meguiars and Mothers both sell and recommend the use of a clay bar before polishing just as Zaino does. Both Meguiars and Mothers sell and recommend the use of detailer sprays like Z-6. I see no more steps in using Zaino than any other system, paint prep is recommended no matter what system you use. You don't HAVE to use coats and coats of Zaino, but auto enthusiasts just enjoy polishing their cars more often than the average Joe does.........

Now in that thread (posted about a year and a half ago) I mentioned 12 hours of total detailing time. Please understand, this was LONG before my Yoda Zaino Jedi days! I can do the whole process (wash, dry, Z-6, Z-5, Z-6, Z-5, Z-6, Z-2) in about four hours now. And the key is YOU DON"T HAVE TO DO ALL OF THIS! I have just done a Z-7 wash, dry, Z-6 mist, and Z-2 OR Z-5 layer in about 1.5 to 2 hours and this would be enough for a GREAT looking car.

Are you joking or are you serious? I wasn't sure if the smilies were laughing at your reply or my post above.

I think the Stealth results would look identical if they were both taken in sunlight. The Zaino pics are obviously going to look much more shiny and reflective when you have the sun shining down on your car. Plus, the Zaino car has tire shine on the tires, adding even more reflection.

Here we go, another Zaino HATER!

All I can say is you have to try the product to understand why it is so great.

A test was conducted among 47 or 48 polishes and waxes and Zaino came out #1.

Dr. Bonz can enlighten you on this.

There is probably nothing I nor anyone else can say to make you believe in this product.

Here is their website info:

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ry_Code=PHOTOS

What do you call that reflection????

I was skeptical at first but when I used the product I was amazed.

So take it however you want too, doesn't matter to me!

Care to post a pic of your shiny car?

True, the sunlight does make it look a bit different, so I guess you'll just have to take my word on it. BTW, there was "tire shine" as you called it, on the before pic to. Also, in the before pic, the car was freshly detailed with Zymol which is a decent product.

All I can say is that I have used about a dozen products over the years and Zaino is SIMPLY THE BEST!

The report mentioned above is called the Guru Report. You can read all about it here:
