ZFX question.
Well I recieved my Zaino kit today. Can't wait to start that layer count, it's gonna get huge very fast...
Anyways, The little blue vile of ZFX is less then half full, I was just curious if this is normal or if it should be full...
Damn, it's going to be a week before the rain lets up

It is "normal". Your mixing bottles are 2 ounce. You will only use 1 ounce or less of Z2 or Z5. So, hold the the ZFX vile verticle, don't squeeze, and let 3-4 drops of ZFX "fall" into the mixing bottle. Enjoy the shine!

what do you mean..."don't let it fall." just thought you mix em together. worked good last weekend, but has anybody read the instructions that come with the kit. it kinda goes back and forth about how many coats you can/cannot put on in a day. thanks

Let the drops "fall" from the ZFX vile into your mixing bottle that contains either Z2 or Z5 then shake to mix, let set and then shake again. Some have squeezed the vile, thus "squirting" the ZFX into the mixing bottle. You want "drops".

On the subject of ZFX:
I just applied my first layer of Z5 w/ ZFX today--finally! Well, I only used about a quarter of an ounce on the car, then the sun went down and had to stop for the day. I want to apply another layer tomorrow with what I have left, but the instructions read: ...after 12 hours, throw the mixing bottle and any unused contents away...the mixing bottle cannot be rinsed and reused after that time period.
Well, I hate to waste the Z5/ZFX I have left--think I can still use it, or should I mix up a fresh batch tomorrow?

Mix up a fresh batch. The ZFX reacts with the Z5 and creates cross-linked polymers. Once the reaction has taken place, you do not want to use the batch, as it may scratch your finish.
