Default Zaino - Car Washing Question??

Hello - 3 weeks into my new black 350z and four coats of Zaino already! A question, is it okay to wash my car at a touchless car wash place (with the hand wand, "super soap", spot-free rinse, etc) or do I have to hand wash to prevent the Zaino from coming off? If I have to hand wash how do you avoid getting water spots on the car - I've tried using the leaf blower but I still get some spots...

Your help is appreciated. I'll post some pictures of my detailed car soon (working on it tonight!!)

Thanks again,
Mike

You can use the touchless but I don't recommend it. It won't remove your Zaino but it will decrease your durability I'm sure. It's best to use a pH balanced carwash like the Zaino Z-7. It cleans and doesn't take any of your layers off.

As for the water spots, I use a California Car Blade. It is a silicon blade that "squeegies" the water off. I then use a microfiber waffle weave towel to dry. NO water spots.

Many people (Sal Zaino included) don't recommend the water blade since if you aren't careful you can scratch your paint. You have to make sure you have NO debris on it before using it. I haven't had any troble yet.

I agree totally with Doc about "Touch Free Washes". I manage 4 in NM. Most, can't say all, use a high Ph soap followed by a low Ph soap. The concentration can vary. This is where you might have a problem. I would hand wash using Z7.
