Zaino or other polish and protectant before 3M clear bra?
I am arranging delivery today of my Z from way out of state. They are offering 3M clear bra application for $549. I am reticent to do it because I would like to get it Zaino'ed or otherwise polished under there before having the bra applied. I anticipate that the rest of the car would be much more reflective if the paint weren't polished before application of the bra. Any thoughts on this from the experts and others in the know?

Also, the bumper is tricky because of the curves so you need someone that knows how to stretch the material without leaving marks, here is a shot of the headlight as you can see it looks perfect. Just make sure the installer has experience with tricky cars such as porsches because, don't someone that is a window tint installer that is just getting into 3M bras, I did that and it was bad they could not do the bumper at all. Just to tell you how bad it was, the original install was free and I had it removed and paid 900 to have it redone by someone that knew what they were doing.

I'm getting my 2nd try at the 3M on Sat AM. Called Xpel today and they would prefer NOTHING on the car, no sealers, of course no wax. This helps the material to bond better. Also, my installer indicated that any fine scratches which might be on the front dam or the hood will dissappear once the film is on. Saves some polishing effort. Will post pics of the finished job once done.
