I just got a car cover from Meguiars. It fits nicely and is made well. Bird poop will not even stick to it. The only thing I am worried about is that it is hard to keep the car totaly clean before putting it on. So will this scratch the paint up even if I am careful. I wax and polish it every month like meguiars tells me too, so wouldn't this help to keep scratches away and get rid of those little scratches?

 

just be careful and don't try to get the cover too dirty also. you didn't specify what color you have but I have a super black and take good care putting it on and off my car. Also, try not to drag it across the paint, I fold mines up so i just unfold it as i put it on. you should be fine tho. Keeping your car clean before you put on the cover is my best bet.
