Default Zaino Experts (Advice)

After using NXT on my wife's 02 Maxima, I was tired of it lasting only a week or so, so I am applying its first coat of Zaino today. I washed with Dawn, Claybarred, washed with Z-7, dried, and applied Z-6 and buffed dry.

Here is my Question.

Since its the first coat, do I,

1. Apply 2 coats of Z-5, then one coat of Z-2.

or

2. One coat of Z-5, one coat of Z-2, another coat of Z-5, another coat of Z-2.

I also know to apply Z-6 in between coats.

Thanks,

(Since shipping is one flat rate, I just ordered $126.00 worth of Zaino Goodies, ) Should last me 2 years.

If the car is a dark color I would do 2 or 3 coats of Z-5 in a row if filling swirls is a problem you are working on.

Its PPW, same as my Z. Thanks, I think I will do 2 coats of Z-5, then 1 coat of Z-2.

Hey, whats your website to buy DF towels, I heard a lot a good things about them I wouldn't mind buying a few to see how they work.

How many towels should I buy? It will be for 2 cars.

Evil,

One medium sized DF towel is enough to do my Z. I use two, one to remove the Z-2 or Z-5 and the second to do the Z-6 with.

On the slightly larger Maxima, you still may be able to get by with just one to remove the Z-2/Z-5. It's not like there is a buildup of Zaino on the towel that would hinder.

I ordered (1) big DF towel for drying and (2) medium detail DF towels for detailing.

Just got through putting 1 coat of Z-5/Z-2 on my Maxima.

Looking really great for only haveing 2 coats.

I would also recommend you go through Kevin Overall if you want any Zaino products or DF Towels. He answered all my questions promptly.

I'll second the Kevin recommendation. I've gotten all but my initial Zaino kit from Kevin and have had nothing but good experiences with him.
