It has been covered before and the thought was that it just waists Zaino. Besides the Z-5 doesn't buff out the scratches, it just fills them in.

Using a buffer with Zaino is a waste.

+1...Zaino should be applied to paint in a very thin layer, which I would find difficult to achieve with a PC. In additon, it's best to apply the product with back and forth/straight line motions. It comes off so easily I don't see that you would need the PC for that either.

It depends in large part on how experienced you are with the orbital...they are great for applying polishes that REMOVE paint imperfections or for buffing out waxes. I only use the PC on my truck...I'm not that accomplished with it and afraid of doing more harm than good.

I have done it before w/ great results. A little goes a long way still but you use about 2x's as much product, the foam pad sucks up a good amount.

Personally, I prefer putting on my final steps (wax's/sealents, etc) w/ the PC and a finishing pad if I have it laying around and already out. I feel the PC helps ensure you get full coverage. I'll also occasionally use an MF bonnet over a clean pad to remove product.

If it's a waste w/ zaino then it's also a waste w/ almost every other product out there. It's just saves the man work at the cost of wasting some product.

One product I do think is pointless to apply w/ the PC is p21s/s100 as you put on and wipe off immediately and are only doing a panel at a time.
