tire paint dots?

tire paint dots?

anyone else have these, like little sprays of paint on the tire wall, whats the best way to remove them? scrub them? I havent tried anything yet, so it might come off with a little elbow grease, Im just curious if theres a secret.

I've got them but haven't tried to remove them....yet.

a little soap and water takes them right off... i always get lazy and it takes a few weeks to remember to clean them off on new tires

Yes everyone has them. I work for a major tire company. The "dots" are applied in the balancer machine. It lets the tire mounter where to mount the the tire on the rim in relation to the valve stem.
