Here is a thread of a few pics of my car with tint, it is a metallic tint that reflects the light but when light is not hitting it, is like a light tint, it looks nice. I will find other pics and post later here.

Well to be truthful I know there are colors out there but not my taste so I didn't really look into it, I usually get the standard dark tint but the last car I got the reflective like the one on the Z and liked it, but don't mistake it for the chrome tint which allways looks like a mirror, mine just reflects when the light hits it otherwise it looks like dark tint. Not telling you what to do but IMHO colored tint is a bit on the tacky side.

Also. is the tinting somewhat a nuisance because I would like to see everything clear when I look through the window?

I think it is 35% and it is not a problem it is like wearing sunglasses, at night sometimes it is hard to see when making a left hand turn and there is no light and you are trying to see out the side window, one thing that helps is the Z's wide light pattern.

I took it a step further after the pics above and added a front window tint, not legal here but I was crazy that day, it is really nice during the day but again at night it is rough but luckly the lights shine right in front so it is not as bad.

No I didn't do it myself, sorry for confusion. The guy was over at my house doing my son's car and I went ahead and asked him to do the front windshield.

As for 150 that is a good deal if it was here in Florida, they run between 150 and 200 here.

so is it hard to see outside of the window, so that means the tint is 2 ways from the outside and inside?
