Default Best Winter Wax

hey guys, im a regular NXT waxer, but i dont have the time to apply coats as often as they are required anymore because i am back at school. i have heard from numerous reputable people that NXT is a very fine thin wax that wears off easily. during the summer this is not a big deal, but when i actually need the wax to protect my paint, and wheels (gunmetal sfs, w/ polished lip) i want it to be on, and in thick layers. can someone give me a cue to what kind of wax is best for the winter season???
