Life happens, so I need to sell the car. The car has been a track car since 5/26/06 which is had 13,132 miles on it raced by Joe Hermes which he has a few track records with this car, just google his name. It currently has 17xxx miles on the car . It started off as a track model. Title in hand. The z still has power windows, heat, defrost, wipers, door locks, etc etc. The body of the car is fairly straight. The fenders on each side has some slight wave to them but very clean other than that. The car has the following:

Retail KBB price is right over $20,500
Private Party is right over $17,500

Asking Price is 13,500

2003 Track Model 350z 17xxx on car
2006 Rev Up Motor (right over 4k miles on rebuild)
Enkei RPF1 18x10 all the way around with 285/30/18 khumo v710 (80-85%)
Brembo BBK with carbotech pads
Moton Club Sport Coilovers
Nismo Diff
Momo Corse Steering Wheel and hub
Racetech RT4009 passenger seat w/6pt harness
Racetech RT4009WTHR w/6 pt harness
Full Spec Roll Cage

I know Joe Hermes and I know this car. Its well built and Joe always took care of his cars. We sold Joe two sets of Enkei RPF1 light weight wheels. It's SCCA T2 condition now but with a couple of modifications it will also fit into SCCAT3 class. This car did well at the Heartland Park Runoffs against really tough competition.

The price is low for a really nice car like this.

I'm interested. Bob - what would need to be done to put it into T3, and would that be your recommendation?

Is the cat included? j/k. . .

Are there other parts included? The rev-up is stock? It sounds like it may be more competitive in T2, so I'll start to look into what that would take.

There are no other parts included sorry. As far as the motor goes, the bottom end is stock minus new pistons and rings. The heads have new valve train and cams along with ECU reflash. Right now Joe Hermes is putting together a packet for me as well as the SCCA log book and should be getting that to me within the week or next week.

Thanks
Chad

Check out the listing in the SCCA web site. What you need for T3 are 8.5 x 18 wheels on all 4 corners, a 50mm flat plate restrictor, maximum of 240/40 DOT tires, 3400 # at end of race. The weight might change for 2012, not sure yet. The T2 springs and sway bars are all good and you can use any shock you want.

With the HR engine in our 2007 car we have to use 2 40mm restrictor plates. We also installed the front and rear NIsmo bumpers which I think are helping the car. Our cars pictures are at www.jlofoto.net Rob and I are putting together plans for incentives for T3 drivers for 2012 who will run national races. We are working on things like sets of tires, carbotech pads, wheel deals, and more. Details to follow.

Scott I think that would be a good car if you want to get into T2 or T3 racing. The only trouble with the T2 class right now is the Mustang which had a lot of concessions before the car ever got on track and its an overdog.

Any shock? I thought T2 had some limitation to the NISMO shock or something. Maybe that's from a few years ago when we had a local running a T2 350Z. Thanks for the info.

Any shocks in T2/3. You just have to run the Nismo T2 springs and bars (too the best of my knowledge).

I know Rob is on JRZ's and Kleeman is on Moton 3 ways. So...suffice to say...any shock is legal.

Gotcha. I guess I was thinking the NISMO springs. Oh to race a 350Z or a vintage Datsun. . .

Nismo springs and sway bars. Any shock is correct. We are using the 3 way JRZ's and you are good enough that you can work with those. They are not for beginners as you need a lot of seat time to get them right. A novice would get lost pretty quickly as it takes a bit of time and a good feel for the car to set them. Scott we can help you with the shocks through JRZ and maybe you could be satisfied with the double adjustables. Those are pretty good too.

We optimized our car this year even having UpRev spend an hour with the car on the dyno at Road America at the runoffs. There are a few more things that we can do this winter and hopefully get another second or so out of our time at RA. Then we are out of ideas.

$13,500 is an absolute steal for this car. If it was close to us I wold buy it as an investment for resale when the season starts. I just bought a newer 2009 golf cart and now need to sell old yellow.

Thanks bob! I agree it is a steal. Normally I wouldnt go so low on this because like you said you could resale it to the right person or part it out and make money. I just need to free up the cash.

Thank everyone for their .02 cents and helping out with info about the car and the class.

No doubt about it...this car is an absolute steal at 13.5. The shocks, springs, and bars alone are almost 6k new.
