I don't really need a 17" tire as I don't have any rims for that.
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's 245/40YR17's for the stock rear 17's
just put them on mine and ran a 12.3 @ 112 love'em to death, in wet traciton there amazing too, give'em a shot you wont be dissapointed...

cecil county dragway, it was a very cold night actually...i was suprised i hooked that well, still launched with alittle spin...but i could have launched harder if it was warmer...BTW the tire pressure was at 35psi 
next time im dropping it to 15-20psi :-)

what is the widest possible tire that will mount on the stock 17s without overlaping too much? Im debating if i should use the 17s for the track or j\pick something else up.
