Default 13.1 on 19" Volks and Greddy TT

Well after my long wait I finally get to run my car at the strip. I was hoping to do better but since it is my first time with the twin turbo setup, I am satisfied. I know that I am not a good driver and I am sure with an experience driver, my car will hit the 12's. I could only get a 13.1, but I didnt it all day. It was consistant but not what I was shooting for. I need to work on my launching skills. I had four runs tonight the first was against a hatch. The second run was against an SRT-4. I lost cause the damn employee entered my dial-in incorrectly. It had a 13.7 for my dial in and I ran a 13.1 all day. The SRT-4 ran a 14.8 and I did a 13.1 again. The numbers weren't readable so here is the results:

7662:me - 7699:SRT-4
dial-in: 13.7 - 14.20
Reaction: .389 - .160
I1: 2.252 - 2.367
I2: 5.831 - 2.367
I3: 8.669 - 9.702
MPH: (I3): 85.769 - 73.186
E.T.: 13.127 - 14.879
MPH: 107.159 - 95.425

so I lost in this one since my dial in was beat. Now the third run was against my friend. He messed up shifting and i pulled a 13.1 again. here is are the timeslips for the run against the hatch and my friend's Z.

the first is the hatch.

I know I can get into the 12's if I can get my 60' lower. Now here was my last run. It was against another Z that we met here. I had a clean launch, shifted pretty fairly and got my 60' lower. But guess what happens? I missed 4th gear and couldnt get it back in there for like 1-2 secs. I was pissed cause I know if I shifted correctly, I could be in the 12's. The slip was not readable off the scanner so here is the results:

7662: Me - 7670: other Z
dial-in: 13.1 - 14.00
reaction: .362 - .478
I1: 2.070 - 2.437
I2: 5.642 - 6.383
I3: 8.497 - 9.478
MPH (I3): 80.457 - 79.871

E.T.:14.039 - 14.389
MPH: 87.844 - 102.180

As you can see, I had a better 60' than all my other 3 runs by .2 seconds. but I still had a better E.T. and had a lower trap. I was pulling hard on 2nd and 3rd. If I kept it up, it woulda been maybe 12's? I was just happy nothing happened to my engine while I was out there. so I had a blast and too bad I didnt break 12's but maybe my next time around.

We're in Sacramento, California--I'd imagine low elevation.

Good times. I was there also (JP). I think there were 5 z's there last night. I'm glad to see JDMZ33 got below the magical 14.4 sec time which all stock z's seem to be stuck at. Let us know next time you go!

Ya there were like 5 Z's. It was fun and next time we should all go the same day. There were lots of STi's and SRT-4's there. I didnt see any STi's or SRT-4 hit below 13.5. There was one WRX, the last model, that one hit 13.1. I am sure he has lots done to it. But yea next time lets get more Z's out there.

cquence, you should throw on some BFG/Nitto DR's on your factory rims! You'll be deep into the 12's BTW, I think I drove by you on East Roseville Prkwy last night around 10:15pm. If not you, then maybe another TT 350z around these parts?

Nice Time. I usually go to Infineon just about every Wednesday. One of these Wednesday's I'll get up to Sac. That track is faster. I went on one Sat. and got 25 runs in. How many people show up on Wed. at Sac? There were sooooooo many people at Infineon last Wed!!! I only got a few runs in!
