Default ATI 1/4 mile time: 12.6@111

Went to the track today and am less then pleased with the times I got, but I have to blame the head wind we had at the track. Everyone I was talkign to at the track said their traps were down by 3-4mph. Anyway, went back still with 19's and 7psi. Here is the slip:

I guess I shouldn't really complain, but next weekend hopefully there will be less wind. My goal was a 12.4@114mph, I couldn't manage to get above a 111.19 today with all the wind where as last time I was trapping @ 112 with no wind, and a little less power/torque. Oh the guy in the right lane was a Turbo Monte Carlo, falling apart and all

Outstanding Job Bill!

My goal is 12.2 I think the 2 tenths you seak is in your 60 just like my 12.6 was. My gains were all at the top end in 3rd and 4th.

To think we are complaining about mid 12's now. How far we have come from last year when we had a contest to see who could break 12's first what a difference a year makes.

Thanks man. I really need to mount my slicks or some DR's, then I'll be sorta pleased with my times, I can't really expect less of a 60' with 19's. Your right, we have come far for a year, maybe by the end of the year we'll be in the low 11's That's my ultimate goal. I'd like to see 12.4 with 7psi and 12.0 with 9psi, on street tires. Can't wait to fix the bugs I'm having with 9psi and run that soon too When are you heading back to the track?

You going to come to Fayetteville? If so, I'll head down with you. I got some stuff I have to finish sorting out too, my times are too slow.

yes more than likely if the weather is right I'll go to Fayetteville. I'll stay in touch as long as my car stays in one piece so I can get it finished.

not yet I need to dyno these headers so I can send off the freakin thing. My car has been to the shop more in the last 2 months than it has been driven. I hope to dyno tomorrow and send off the ECU sometime this week for tuning.

Well good luck, I hope you get it all straight. Look forward to seeing you at the track, I know a few of the Raleigh Max guys want to go too. We're going bowling tonight so I'll ask them.

Nice times, i'm sure you'll probably get what you are looking for next time provided the weather cooperates. BTW Ravaz, I thought you were turbocharged? Did you switch to a supercharger and if so, why? Sorry for the random question as I may have you confused with someone else...

Yeah, I don't have the car anymore. Got rid of it in Oct or Nov last year. I had a Procharger on it then put the Greddy TT on the car.

DOH! Back from the dead. I misread the original post date. Thought it was march 05. Bummer about selling the car. I had seen videos and thought it was a nice car. So if one sells a 11 second capable turbo Z, what does one replace it with?
