Some advice, analysis on my times. In desperate need of help
I went to the drags yesterday and to my dissapointment my best at that day was only a 14.36 while my best is a 14.23. The odd thing was that when i hit my 14.3 i had some DC headers on and when i get the 14.2 i had no headers on. Now, there is something i couldnt figure out. Maybe the reason i hit that crappy of a time is because i altered my tire psi. I had it at 27psi in the rear and 30-31 psi in the front. Is my psi too low thus making my car slower or is it just my driving yesterday or is the headers thats messing me up. What is the proper tire psi i should be at with street tires. I have the BF goodrich KDW V2's on.
I've messed around with my launching at the strip too. Needless to say, i was very nervous as usual but i launhced at 3rpm and i bogged down to 2 but my 60ft was a decent 2.1. Then i launched at 3.5-4rpm and i was cool until i went wot and i got wheel spin and i tried to feather but by the time i fixed the spin i hit a 14.7. And i lastly i did a 2rpm and it seemed well but i forgot the take off vcd!!!!!
lastly i compared the two time slips and it does seem like the performance of my car has weakened due to my headers. let me know what you guys think. Thanks
60ft - 2.25
330ft - 6.07
1/8 - 9.23

1/4 - 14.2
mph - 98.52
60ft - 2.15
330ft - 6.05
1/8 - 9.27
mph - 76.6
1000 - 12.02
mph - 0
1/4 - 14.36

BTW: i know i should work my launching.

LIke Alberto said, you 2.1 60' is pretty good...but you 1/8th time and trap is real slow for that kinda of 60'. Once you launch, you need to shift at as fast as you can...with a 2.1, you can run 13.7-8 at the right elevation and with the right weather pretty easily.

could my 1/8 be slow due to my crappy launch. Cuz i stagged it at 3-3.5rpm but i bogged down to 2rpm but still be able to get a 2.1 60ft? What rpm do you guys launch at? I cant really imagine shifting any faster than i am right now from 1st to 2nd. Only thing i can think of that can cause my high 1/8th is from the bogging of my launch.

The runs in my sig I would dump the clutch out at 2500 ish. But, am not at all happy with my 60 fts times and have started practicing slipping.
