Default What tires should I run?

I currently have some 20x9.5 Axis Milanos with 285/30/20 Falken 451's mounted. I'm wondering (since I'll be running my car tonight) if I should keep these on or switch to my factory 17's w/potenzas? I know the 20's are a little taller so I'll have a marginally higher ratio, but I can't tell if they have any added traction. Their weights, believe it or not, are about the same.

Run the stock tires in the back at around 27 psi. Ive seen a base model Z cut a 1.9 60ft on stock wheel/tire and of course with no lsd. You will have much more sidewall for that launch on the 17's over the 20's....

Thanks, I did end up running the stock tires and went around 30 psi. I don't think this track in Sac is very well prepped, and have never seen a na 350 do better than 14.2. It was quite warm out (90-95) but I don't know what the D/A was. My best 60 was 2.21 (I've had better) and my best et was 14.1@102.5. Yeah my trap looks very high for a 14.1. My previous best trap was 100.4 and that was in much better conditions. All I've added was an Injen exhaust. Couple of other Z's out, one with JWT pop and custom exhaust which ran a 14.4@97. Overall I'm happy with my trap but I still know my car has 13's in it.

Nice job. Given the track conditions and the heat, your car trapped good and your times are ok. Just work on your launch some more, if its slick on the track, just slip the clutch In 40 degree coldness, track slick as $hit, I somehow managed to cut a 2.0 60ft by slipping it out of the hole, instead of my usual 1/2 slip, 1/2 dump. Work on that and your 13's for sure....

Yeah I know there is ALOT of room for improvement on my launch. I know that my negative camber can't be helping my traction. I feel my shifts are very quick. I'll try to post some videos soon.
