I have an 03, its a possibility, because I had to get on the brakes hard once or twice with my fuse out before and I never locked up. But, BriGuy knows all there is to know about Z's, so he's most likely right.

My 03 does the same thing as his 05. My ABS and SLIP and I believe VDC off lights go on and my ABS stops functioning. Maybe you've been on your brakes hard...but have you locked them up or tried to kick in ABS while the stop lamp fuse is pulled? I have...and they lock up.
