I know, my reply was not intended for you.

I have figured out my launches I have been getting consistent low 1.7's and the one 1.6 now it's just a matter of making it second nature so that I don't have to think about it anymore.
Actually my biggest challenge is to be able to hit second gear again.
I ordered new Synthetic Gear Oil that supposedly helped others with similar problems.

For the next month I'm going to only run on DR's to get ready for the IDRC finals in November since they won't let me run on Slicks.
First try for that will be tomorrow eve at LACR. I am very curious on how much of a difference this will make

from what I hear, you need to run mickey thompson drs. all of my buddies that race them are pulling killer 60's and much more consistent than bfg's and nittos

edit:you might want to think about getting a 2step as well

edit2: if its allowed in the class you are racing

I didn't get an answer from them if I can use the MT DR's and I didn't get the correct wheel dimensions on time since the MT's need a wider wheel so I got the BFG DR's (the new tread style).
An it's the BF-Goodrich Class anyways, so if I win I get an extra bonus from BFG for using their tires.

What's a 2 step?

its a launch control that holds your rpms at a certain level when the clutch is in so you rev at the same rpm everytime you launch.
If you find the perfect launching rpm this can be really useful.

Its also cool if you have a flame mode and you run really rich and raise vacuum levels so you shoot flames when you hit the 2-step...

the class i raced in didnt allow electronics...so i never used one. the cool thing about the 99+ gts like i had, was sct could just put one in with the custom tune with no other electronics
