Default Ran the quarter mile at Gainesville Raceway, bogging hell!

Wazzzup everyone, I went to Gainesville Raceway wed nite and ran a 14.277@100.94 with a 2.291 60'; MODS: Nismo CAI, Exhaust and ground wires.

This is an ok time I guess but I ve heard of faster times from bone stock Zs. I had crappy launches all night including my best run above. There was nothing I could do except launch from idle, which I did once to guarantee no bogging. I ran a 14.470@ 99.92 on that run. My tranny had some work done on it and when I got the Z back, the clutch was not catching until almost the end of the pedal travel, like it was worn out. That is part of the reason I bogged so much because the clutch would all of a sudden catch instead of slowly catch on, why is this happening?

If you were bogging why didnt you try launching from a higher rpm instead of having to power out of the hole from idle?

Yes if your bogging try launching higher. Try a quick slip at about 2500 rpm's, catch traction then got WOT....

Congrats on 13's. Get your 60ft's down to 2.0's and you'll be around 13.6...
