I'm not affiliated with Vinny, no way..lol
however, he said on supraforums the reason he had not made such fast runs prior to this throught this season was due to clutch issues...I already knew that, as I talked in person today with the guy who is helping him out....
its not a big deal...my beef with him was the fact he LIED about running a 7.3 @ 191 mph previously when he had a stroked rb26 skyline motor in it....... and never had proof....just like with their black supra...claimed it ran a 7.90 @ 181 mph like 3 years ago..which was FULL OF CRAP too....no proof, never anything to prove it....thats my issue with Carl...he's always been a liar....and in this industry, people dont like liars.....put up or shut up.....yet, with this, its immediatly on youtube the day after it happens....whatever...I'll give credit where credit is due...he has a good clutch guy now, and got help in other areas too...its about time, now go run the numbers in competition to back it up...

A good clutch guy? Well when I was at the atco race I only saw three guys in the pit working on the car, Carl, his father and some other kid. You know it is very unfortunate that yet again you have no proof and must lie about things. I have read on the Supra Forums that you said that Carlos aka Pepe Loco is doing his clutches, man you are wrong. I was just talking to him today about it. I don't know what Carl has done to you, but I have only had good experiences with the work that has come from him. The fact of the matter is, is that you are making up a lot of false accusations about him. My best friend is a lawyer, maybe I should tell Carl about him.

^^ who the heck are you with 3 posts to come on here acting like his best friend?
Actually, Carl left me pretty nasty voicemails actually last year, with his former business partner pat winkel....when I doubted about their claimed numbers from their black supra they said ran a 7.90 @ 181mph, which was never proven and completely doubted by all in the supra community by the way..and Carl had his ***** leave me these voicemails....

Carlos is cutting his clutches for him.. according to a PM Cj just sent me, and you apparently? I never posted that on supraforums that Carlos did anything for him at all.........I never mentioned the guys name on Supraforums, so apparently Carl is sending you PM's now? who the heck are you anyway?
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...13#post4490813
and he said as a result, he ran 7.30 @ 191 as apposed to the mid to high 8's with 175-180 traps he did the rest of the season? due to clutch issues? cmon....doesnt make any sense to me..but hey whatever
a good clutch doesnt miracusely make you go from running a 8.118 167.25 2 weeks ago in NOPI qualifying, only to BREAK in the eliminations...... to a 7.30 @ 191 yesterday...thats total BS....
no big deal, just give credit where credit is due, to whoever has helped him miraculously make a HUGE jump to run a 7.30 @ 191...not something that isnt just done overnight.....so, thus its just a little strange...
no need for lawyers...run what you brung....put up or shut up..
i'm glad he finally ran the number he claimed to do 2 years ago....its about damn time!
congrats to the local jersey boy!

I am just a customer of his, I don't like people bad mouthing others. Also here is some racing 101: An optimum clutch setup will allow you to apply as much power as possible to the rear wheels without losing traction. This is accomplished by controlling the amount of clutch slippage with adjustments to the static and centrifugal pressures. Now if you were really into racing you would know this and not make up stories involving people whom you have no contact with. I myself am done posting to you, I actually have to wake up for my job in the morning.

^^ not a big deal, obviously you are more of a friend then a customer, as you got some pretty good info that not an ordinary customer would get..
just hard to believe he could make up that much ground in such little time, it seems very fishy...more then just a "clutch" difference.....
by the way, he screwed over many supra friends of mine in the past few years, and he has a really crappy reputation on supraforums......be thankful you havent been f'over by him like other unhappy customers of his.....to each their own, love him or hate him, defend them all you want.....I gave congrats to the time, but just wish it wasnt shrowded in lies and deception
