First time at the track
Took the z to the track for the first time last night. Other than the one pass I made on my bike, I have zero 1/4 experience. My best time was:
60' 2.515
1/4 14.615
mph 99.23
I never had a good launch, I was so rushed for time after I got to the line I just dropped the clutch. I've only had the car for 5 days and have never owend a manual car before. I was also very nervous to say the least. I hope to work on my launches at get back out there and put down some bettter times.
Few questions.
What PSI would you recommend for stock tires?
Is it best to shift at redline? Or maybe some place slighty before?

I’m just being a Smart Alex. You're new to the 350Z with a manual transmission, and a new racer. If you had posted 13.7 seconds, I would have raised the BS flag. You're at the track racing and practicing, and that's cool. Each visit you'll improve your ET by 0.1 seconds. With practice you'll be running better than 14.0 seconds and need a helmet. Be safe and enjoy yourself.
