Nah ur right mid to low 12's isn't a disappointment. Sounds like the vortech out of the box can barely reach 12's and that disappoints me.

I couldnt make passes. Tune is all over the place and can't turn the fuel pressure up. Changing to the 9psi pulleys next week and re-tuneing.

Well i will be making a track visit the 9th and 11th at 2 different tracks. I'll be on streets one time an dr's the next time. We'll see how the clutch holds up on the dr's.. Hoping for some mid 12's on streets and low 12's on dr's/

It's not slow by any means but for the price any of the Turbo kits will be more efficient/powerful/etc.

Not knocking on a S/C setup, but I believe both of you purchased your kits used, and there have been a few TN-ST setups going for about $3k on this forum as well. S/C Z's perform well, but it shouldnt be a surprise to anyone that a ST Z can and most of the time will outperform a S/C Z with similar breathing mods, and similar psi.

You have kinda same set up as myself. I have a question, after driving for a hour or so I go into limp mode and engine light goes on. (The car spudders) I shut car of and it resets and all is fine. Does your car do that?
