Went to the track, again. Temps were in the mid-to-high twenties. 1/4 tank of chevron. I took everything out of the trunk. Everything.
Had 16 runs.
9 runs with traps > 100.
8 runs with 2.1 60 foots.
1 run with a 2.100 sixty foot, but I missed a shift on that run, so who knows what my ET would have been.
5 runs of 13.8 ET's.
Best trap of the night: 103.16.
Running on all-season 245/40 street tires.

Not bad. That's about the coldest running at the track I've ever heard of too. I was at the track in the mid to high 30s once but that's it. The one time I went in january it was damn near 60 lol.

No doubt!
Its nice to have a sports car like the Z (can wait for mine in a few months!
) BUT....
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats seeing the look on a mustang, bmw 3 series , suby's (and yes always the abundance of civics and preludes
) drivers faces after they loose to a G Sedan.........I'm going to miss my G (for sale at moment PM if you might be intrested) as I like having a car thats almost as fast as the Z stock, but with 4 DOORS!!!hehehe....

And before anybody comments on my sh!tty reaction times; I am fully aware of those. All night long all I was doing was concentrating on launching properly; IOW, making sure my revs were exactly where I wanted them.
i never been down a track before. wonder wuts it like. im getting my Greddy TT put on this week. going to test it out when it opens. i bet i'll have a ****tier reaction time than you. =) great times tho.

David at 1/8 he is already toward the top of 3rd gear. His G picking up 22mph the last 1/8 only requires 1 shift into 4th, and therefore the last 1/8 isnt a good indicator of shifting technique (not saying ur bad trey). What the last 1/8 mile does show is that his G has good top-end. The first 1/8 mile is where you can determine if a person is shifting well by looking at their trap and e.t. at that point. BTW yes he is referring to bracket racing....and yes I agree on your good driving, its nice to see a G sedan running 13's and trapping 103
