A lot of it alos has to do with track prep. Some tracks are preped much better than others. This helps with traction. As far as Hp is concerned, the cooler the better, lower the humidity the better.

low humidity around 30-40% or better, 50-60* so you can enjoy the day grill out with everybody and over 30 barometric pressure.

last march for Fun Ford Weekend here at Orlando Speedworld, the weather was awesome. Just like above but in the high 60's low 70's. Perfect since we had 3 rv's and about 10 buddies pitted with us for 3 days...except i am like **** break from american pie

I don’t think that it matters. The cars that you race against are racing in the same conditions you are.

OK. You are right. The OP is not talking about drag racing but conditions for best ET:

About 65 degrees. Sometimes the sun will warm the staging pad at about 11 o’clock. When the pad is warm and sticky, that’s the best time to run for ET.

My car runs stronger in cool humidity. At Infineon the cooler it gets at night the faster everyone goes.

Try AtCo in february.

I know I'm taking my bone stock Z there when it opens.

Expecting no less than 13's in those conditions.

Did you run your AT there? Nice times.

Cold, dry, high pressure, at sea level.

The colder and dryer the air, the more power your car will make. More air=more power.

However, for the best 1/4 mile TIME, it would likely be only cool. If it's too cold, your tires are hard, and you'll be way more likely to spin.

For HP, as cold, high pressure, and low humidity as you can get. For traction though, there are other concerns.
