Excellent times, really fast car you have with you, i saw all of you guys racing this past sunday. it was a blast. i saw one of you guys racing a white 300zx that was spraying, and i believe he was turborcharged as well, that car was fast, i was behind you guys doing my burnout when i saw you guys times...

Got rid of your Mach?

 

Yep, i traded her in for the gto about a month ago.

 

what are your times on the GTO?

 

engine had 3200 miles on this runs, nitto 245 555r's in the back, full weight, i need to bring my 60's down, but it's really hard to launch with irs. way different than what i did with the mach. i used to get 2.1's on daily basis with the mach and toyo t1-s tires , although the mach was a dog compared to this car at the same track, my best time with the mach was 13.70@104.18mph with a 2.14 60'

Hey mrTomcat. Did you square off with two Supras, two 4g63 cars and another Z in a track event? I saw a nice pic of a black Z launching and a nice little write up. Let me know.

 

Yep that was me at the IDRC Finals in Palmdale (LACR). DSport Magazine had some pictures and an article

Both those Supras had build engines and were putting down around 600whp
I gave em a run for their money though

It was actually quite frustrating they both qualified around 13.3 and I qualiefied 12.4. They both didn't know how to launch but of course when I had to run the guy he had some practise runs in between and figured it out...
The other Supra I would have beaten based on my response times...
Oh well, next season is just around the corner

 

Getting rid of my Mach was a good thing too (this is Justin, I had the other DSG Mach). It was falling apart on me. Motor ran strong, but the build quality was lousy.. GTO is a nice car, enjoy your new vehicle..
