Goin to the strip for the first time, single turbo built motor 350z
Well guys its me the guy thats had a bad past wit this car and finally built his motor, ive NEVER been to a drag strip to do the 1/4 mile. im going to be taking off my hres with pirelli rosso 305's and putting on my stocks that im running 265 dunlop sp R compound tires that i use for road course and stuff, they should hook up better then the pirellis. Now i tried a 3200 rpm launch wit the pirellis on low boost and they hooked up pretty well so i was thinking of trying that, what do you guys think??, i dont want to waste my time when im getting ready to go b/c waiting in that line i hear sux so i want to make everytime count.
yea goin to moroso wit the whole car club gonna be a nice showing for us settle a few scores in the car club on friday of this week, heres the cars from us that are going

hell yes you can, were gonna caravan up, gonna probs meet around 4:30 if your in like miami area, you can come wit us, i already have another good friend of mine just called me he has a vortech 350z that wants to go bad also.

were gonna have a camera man in one of the cars, on the way up, gona probs stop on the way on the road too so the camera guy can switch cars and get the car he was in on vid also.
im running the turbonetics kit, with 550cc injectors, aam fuel return system and utec, and im going tomm to japtrix to tune it were gonna go for 502 whp shouldnt be a prob, right now at low boost im only at like 370 but tomm is the big day for me, gotta get ready for moroso, anybody know what the best way to launch would be having a 500 whp Z someone has to know??
Lol gonna tune to 502whp. Did you just pull that # out of your a$$? Good luck with the 500+whp on that turbo it will do something like 460-480whp MAX and over 500ft/lbs...Id be shocked if you hit a legit 500+whp. BTW dont dump the clutch slip it out of the hole and just shift as fast as you can at redline. You should be low 12's even on your street tires EASY.

ok i have a friend of mine with a lightning that he is going ill see what other friends of mine will go. And i pretty positive that you will pass pass 500 rwhp. How many pounds you going for.

Jeeze take it easy on him Alberto, lol, but take his advice, slip the clutch and ease out of the hole...good luck and make sure someone brings a vid camera and records you going down the strip so you can see what your doing right, and wrong!!

well im only at 8 right now, and were planning to go up to like 15-16, i called turbonetics and they said i shouldnt have a prob at all getting to 500+ and the turbo is efficient till about 21 or so so i have no worries, and slipping the clutch sounds like a pretty good idea, def gonna try that thanx. oh and cool yea i have a friend with a lightning that mite go also their is ALOT of cars going now lol its gonna be an interesting drive over and back thats for sure.

Guys kind of out of the subject but were is the brake fuse and if i unplug it will this only cut the brakes from the rear or from all four sorry kind of a dumb question but dont really know about it.

Sorry man I didnt mean to sound harsh. The reason I say good luck with the 500+whp is this:AAM tuned Modified Mags car--->built bottom end on a TN kit, fuel system, 550cc inj, EMU. Mike told me TN states it will push 20psi, and over 500whp but they found that really anything over 15psi is past its efficincy range, meaning no power, blowing HOT a$$ air. They could only get 46Xwhp and they got over 500ft/lbs. Not saying you cant get a little more, but almost 40whp more Id doubt it. Again good luck, and represent for the TN Z's
