v6 record just broke again, 10.17 secs, turbocharged v6 @135 mph, the head gasket blew and thats why that car ran 11s after that all day after, looses boost when you have ablown gasket with a turbo car. the car will go 9s soon though.

Why don't you match up the fastest V6 mustang against the fastest 350Z. Little problem though...the mustang is going to have to pick up about 2 more seconds in the 1/4 to keep up.

 

you can look at it million different ways. how about stock longblock to stock longblock?? who cares Bri?? The guy is just reaching out to people with mutual interests. What do you think about an 01 RC-51....i am thinking about riding again....that will put the turbo build on the back burner though...

An RC-51 is a nice liter bike. Would this be street only or are you thinking about tracking it??

How far away is the track from just across the bridge in Winsor?
I'd be ready to drive down from Ottawa, with my G, if I havent sold her by then.

 

the track that the race is gonna be in canada (might be in canada, havent been decided yet) is right near the rainbow bridge area, outside of toronto. its about 240 miles from my house, so probably like 210 miles from windsor. Arent you from ottawa though, thats the other way on the yellow brick road in canada(south park episode lol)

our fastest stock long block is high 10 low 11, the engine is completely stock actually, so if they put better heads on or a cam it'd be faster. When i say completely stock i mean stock internals, stock H/C/I, just upgraded fuel injectors and all the little turbo goodies that go with a TT kit.

 

For a street bike it would be great. For the track a liter bike is a handful if you don't have much experience on a track. Especially with all the torque that the RC has.

 

fastest stock long block 350Z is a 10.9 car so that would be a pretty good matchup. Too bad that guy is in PR. If I decide not to build my motor next winter then I'll be going for 10s on my stock longblock.

 

yea that would be, however i think the 350Zs would eventually beat us for stock long block because, you have DOHC 24 valve heads, and some forged internals.

I just think it'd be cool to have some quick 350Zs come to one of our events maybe. We call our event "V6 ford challenge" yet we had a camaro v6 once, i think the guys would let a few 350zs in too. That camaro ran a low 12, its turboed.
