Default C6 Z06 hits 11.34@127mph stock!

Hey guys, does anyone know if this is possible. The guy got a 1.7 60ft with DR and he got 1.8 w/ stock tires. It seems sorta fishy to me. Heres the link.

Ranger has always been one of the best Vette drivers out there. I believe he went 11.7 or 11.8 with a bone stock C5 z06 in the past.

450 rwhp/3100 pounds/massive stock tires/great driver...You do the math...

Ive seen mags hit 11.5-11.9....So it's no big surprise that some one shaved off 2 tenths in my eyes.

Kinda like how all the mags said the stock Supra ran 13.5-14.0....But good drivers have gotten in the low 13's bone stock on stock tires.

Even ONE mag got a 13.1 from a stock Supra while all the other mags were in the high 13's with the same manual Supras.....

Just goes to show you how important the driver mod and track conditions and weather really are.

So with 100 more hp he hits .4 seconds faster with a C6 Z06?

why does it seem fishy, its not all that difficult to pull those 60's on street tires.

So far.....

He's made ALOT more passes on the C5 than the C6. Given time and a looser motor, I expect he'll easily exceed the 11.3 (if he keeps the car stock).

Because he says he has wheel hop which also means his vette isnt too heavy in the rear. Plus I dont think goodyear eagle f1's can stick a 1.8 60ft on a FR platform. Maybe I just dont know what i'm talking about. But I know that motor is underrated, GM claims 505 but its actually around 520-525hp.

The MPH is there to back this up and cuttin a 1.7 60ft will surely get you there. Awesome driving, plain and simple.

That car is bad....and his is stock too.

Realistically, I wonder how responsive this car is to bolt-on's given it's performance level.

He did the 11.34 on his Stock tires, his sig says 11.2 on the DR's for his C6 Z06.

You need to look at HIS sig and not what someone is saying he might have done. Best time for his C5 z06 is a 11.8 at 117 mph, in his C6 he did an 11.3, which is a .5 difference, and the mph is 127....looks like traction is the main issue with a bone stock z06, fix that problem with some DR's and he will probably get it to a high 10 sec 1/4.

I was comparing his 11.2 run with DR and 11.3 with stock tires. Seemed fishy to me with goodyear eagle f1's.

Why its only a .1 diff in 60ft between his DR and stock tire time. Sticky track + 325's out back - good 60ft's. And again it was run at a fast track in good conditions.

Dont you think DR can pull off better 60ft times if its a sticky track with that much power?
