Went to the track Sunday set on 11.5s. Conditions were so-so. Density alt was hovering near 2000ft for most of the day, so my traps were low. I still managed to pull off a new PB of 11.68@119.88mph with a 1.70 60' on 18 inch DRAG RADIALS I'm pretty sure that it's the 18 drag radial record. I did manage a 120.22mph trap later in the day, but a bit of spin into second gear killed my E.T. on that pass. The car definitely has some more in it with better conditions.
Here's my car:

Here's my slip:

Video (out of car, there was a really nasty crosswind):

And finally something new. Larry (gnxs on the board) was kind enough to lend me his in-car camera mount, and I got a good view of my shifting (not quite as "forceful" as alberto, but equally quick
) on one of my 11.7x passes. BTW - the banging sound as I do my burnout and go down the 1/4 is the sound of little rocks coming off my DRs and hitting my wheel wells....my car is TOO quiet

Who said TT car's can't 60 as good as ST cars???

yeah i have et drags 15 X8.5 and they hook incredibly and they weigh 37 pounds with rims and tires, thats what i would look into. 18 psi i can spin them and 16 psi is dead hooking, plenty of room to play with and they will absorb any kind of wheel hop...
1.63 s so far... good job man, are you still stock bottom end??

what size turbos on that kit? nice times Bri. makes me want to hurry up and put a 70mm on this car. especially after reading on a local board that a guy with a cobra motor like mine(except he has an intake and great tuners) and a big single made 550 on 11psi
