Default car too low to change tires

I went back to the track for the first time in 3 months and the first time since I got my nismo kit on and the teins installed...well as it turned out my jack would no longer fit under my car to change my tires.
buddy of mine had a jack that barely fit so I was able to run but I don't want to have to buy another jack now.

I guess I could buy some wood plates to drive on to raise the car a bit but I could swear I saw these wheel dollies that you can just roll under the car and lift the wheel up a bit, I was wondering if someone knows what I'm taking about and where to get those

or maybe someone has a better suggestion

thanks

A couple of 2x4s should do it.

I'm in the same boat. Yeah, the best suggestion I could make is to get some 2x4 blocks, or some low profile ramps:

I ran into the same problem after my first track event (The springs were only a few months old and must have settled a little more) - I lifted the side of the car by grapping the wheel-well and had my wife push the jack into place...I'll be using 2X4's when I'm by myself though.

I don't have the Nismo, I got the Tein Flex.
It's great but the rear srpings are a bit too stiff for the drag strip, I'm going to get some lighter springs for the rear.
The front is great, much stiffer it's easier to control the car going straight

you don't need to spend $70 bucks on those takata ramps when you can get these for less than half. http://www.discountramps.com/plastic_car_ramps.htm

Sorry, the Takata ramps are the only ones I've seen used. At least you're getting JDM quality. Those other ones look like they took a mold of the takata ramps and made a knockoff of them.

Couldn't you take-off the wheel with your free hand?

What would be the advantage to using a mini-ramp as opposed to using a floor jack and the oem scissor jack?
