10.6@128.92 at 5800' above sea level
Wanted to give everyone an update. We went to the track yesterday and ran multiple 10's with a best ET stated in the title. Our best mph run was a 10.9 at 131. We ran an additional 2 pounds of boost( total 18-19 pounds) and are getting more comfortable with the set-up. I will have Eric post the slips when he gets a chance in the next few days. Here is a quick break down of the run until Eric gets a chance to post the slip, 60'=1.569, 1/8=6.864 @102.07mph, 1/4= 10.697@128.92mph. Z should run mid to high 9's @ 140 plus mph at sea level. We will keep everyone up to date with our progress as our times improve. Thanks, Jason

thanks everyone. Our current set-up is listed in our other thread towards the middle of the page in the drag forum. Also a few pics of the Z in that and other threads for Boulder Nissan. Quick overview of our Z is fully built twin turbo with supporting mods and th350 tranny with stall converter and trans-brake. Thanks Again, Jason

Audible, I may take the Z out this weekend. Funny story, when we first completed the install on the new tranny we were out in the back lot of the store and decided to see how it would launch on the street tires(315/30/19). We decided to foot brake up to the stall and it literally took off smoking the tires for at least 30 feet at which point we would let off. Now for the funny part, the th350 can run a standard or reverse shift pattern, those launches were all 3rd gear lol.!!! I can't imagine how it would launch on the street tires in first. Definitely going to take it easy around town.

Alberto, I know when we last tuned with the factory 6 speed in the car we were about 615whp/620rwtq at 20 pounds of boost. We have since installed a dynojet wideband and tune at the track. The tranny cost us some hp/tq but makes up for it in real world performance. The most recent runs were at 18-19 pounds of boost.
