Anyone coming out to the next Southeast Z Shootout event Sept 10th 2006 in Reynolds Georgia? It is an exclusive all day drag strip track rental ... $10 admission, $10 tech card for Z cars ($15 non-Zcars). After the track is paid for, all remaining funds are given back to the racers through ticketed drawings. There are no classes, no eliminations, just a fun run what you brung. I have been to all 6 previous events and have had a blast.
I won't be in the 350z as it is my daily, but I'll be running my 2JZGTE powered 240z

Hey man I saw your car at the Corner in Orlando a few weeks ago... you've got quite an impressive ride! I drive the red 350z you were parked next to.


I don't think I'll be able to make it to Georgia, but definitely sounds like a fun event.

Yea, I remember your car, Sweet ride!!

I know Georgia ia a haul, but we make a weekend of it. We caravan up, leaving Orlando Saturday morning, turnpike it to I-75, pick up guys in Gainesville, a few more up I-75 where it meets I-10, and then up into Georgia. Saturday is spent kicking tires and checking out everyones rides, talking crap and having a couple of beers at the hotel we all stay at. Sunday, we do the track thing, go out to eat afterwards and make the drive back home.
How often do you get 50-75+ high horsepowered Z's in one place at one time, and get to see them run down the track? Well, the answer is once, maybe twice a year, at this event. LOL!!

 

If I can get off, I will be there.

I'll be sporting some new mods on the 2jzgte 240z....
Built motor, Precision GTS-76 turbo, 1000cc injectors, custom intake with 4" throttlebody and 3.5" intercooler piping, AND 75-100 shot of nitrous to get the turbo spooled... should be interesting


now I just have to decide whether to drive the car up to Georgia, or trailer it up to the event...

 

Geebus I will be there, but I am not looking to be much competition compared to others... Just going to do some runs and see others run
