Actually that setup has gone away. I had some custom fiberglass gauge clusters made to go in place of them. Those were just little sheets of tin pressure fitted in the cubby holes and spray painted black lol. I will take some pics of the new fiberglass ones when I get home in an hour or two.

I love drag racing but I'd never give up the rear Brembo's. If you find a used set of discontinued 16" Weld Pro stars or are inclined to have drag wheels made (not as much as you think) you could run a 16" slick like I do, cut good 60ft's and retain the Brembo's....

I honestly don't know. Unfortunately I just have the crappy oem's out back. Someone on here must know though. The wheels are only ~18lbs so I like the setup. Plus I can run them on both of my Z's.

I have been looking at some ebay ads, but they dont give the offset of those wheels. Do you have those wheels? If so whats the offset.

What do the pro stars weigh in at? Do you know what offset/backspacing you need to run an 8inch and 10 inch wheel?

i dont see how all these cars weigh so much, you need me to get ahold of it for a couple hours, my car weighed 2920 w/o me with full turbo kit and koyo. thats precage, now the stock tank is coming out, along with over 40 pounds of factory crossbracing.

also my full chromoly cage only weighed right over 55 pounds, chromoly is really light, the bar going up front at the top was like 3 to 4 pounds. its pretty crazy.

i thought about the CF doors, i hate CF but it will supposely shave another 100 to 130 pounds off, i need to take a door off and weigh it....

Ok I would like to keep the car as stock inside as possible (you know something I can take my wife out to dinner in) I drag my car now but when the built engine goes in this Jan I am doing road courses. So brake are staying, sways ect. I am going in the garage to see if I can pull this box to see what it weighs.

Any pics of the cage? Custom or bolt in? Price? A good cage would certainly allow you to remove a lot of that bracing that's bolted in back there.

Pics of the fiberglass gauge pods as promised...

They are all angled the same as the factory gauges up top there. Its an awesome setup for a quick glance on track and the guy made it so they just bolt right up to where the radio and NAV door bolted up to.

Don't know lol. I took it to the 1/4 once, but there were tons of things working against my 1/4 mile time;

- Road Racing tires with a bunch of negative camber
- Stiff springs
- 2200' elevation
- HOT Vegas weather
- And 1 crappy driver when it comes to launching.

Here is the link to the thread back when I took it to the drag strip...

Yeah I saw that, it looks sick! I read that you wrote, that every 100rpm in 4th gear is like 4mph. I shift at 7k in 1st, but for 2nd, 3rd, 4th I shift a little past 6500. My best trap this month has been 116mph. You think it would change much if I bring it all the way up to 7k.

Without a doubt if you wind out 4th and avoid a 4-5 shift you will do better, you already have...
