Default Z vs Supra Vegas Event Feeler...

I went to the Anual Supras Invade Las Vegas convention this weekend because a racing buddy of mine runs a Supra and I tagged along.
Part of it was a Drag Race Event at Las Vegas Drag Strip. Since my car is still in the shop I didn't get to run but my buddy came in second in his class.

It's a great Drag Strip. And we started talking: Maybe we should organize a Z vs Supra track day (including all generations of z's and supras) and rent out the track for a day or two depending on the interest.

I was wondering if anyone here would be seriously interested in such an event

Please post if you are

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a Z on here that could come out and challenge some of the many incredibly fast Supras.

Also, this years Supra meet was one of the worst/lowest turnouts ever.

1) my car can easily keep up with most of them and there are quite a few more on the west coast that can.
2) that's why I stated 300zx's as well and they can also easily kick supra butt
3) yes, the supra turnout was lame, my buddy did actually 3 solo runs to get into the finals...and then red-lighted and came in second...poor smuck

there are some very fast supras but the majority are just mid to low 12 second cars. Only because one has 1200 hp does not mean one can run 8 seconds...you need to actually get out the hole without spinning or breaking stuff

Well I'll let you prove me wrong when it comes to Zs beating Supras. I don't see the Vegas meet lasting much longer at the rate that it is at now. Most of us have since sold our Supras and the new crowd of people are just noob kids who know nothing about the car and have no respect. It seems that it is all about bragging and being asses anymore.
