yeah man, the cragar ones started off REALLY good, then i think the ends of all of them get crushed just a bit so they hang up.

i still can tell which ones are the cragar and which are the welds, the welds are just WAY too tight in there...

cant wait to see your times man!!

When you wanna get your car on a scale man, Im curious to see how much you weigh with your level of modification. Good luck on Friday if you go, you will be the first "street driven" Z to run 10's!

This is just on my n/a 302 on my quest for 11s a few years ago.

an awesome setup one guy had was bogarts 17 inchers with matching skinnies to swap. He had 315 DRs on the rear. The skinnies are his 5th and 6th wheel that he swaps

This has been coming up a lot lately, one more time---> His car is street driven ,but IMO not a street car. That gets confused with a race car that is capable of being driven on the street, tags or not. Having no interior, a fuel cell - not the stock tank anymore, a cage, and skinnies is not a "street car" IMO. Its a tranny away from a race car. Jeremy will def run 10's if he runs the 6MT set-up again, but hes at least 300-350lbs lighter than other TT, full interior candidates who are also going for this. The guy in PR is "sketch", simply because I never saw a slip, and not a lot of info was given on the set-up, Im not saying it didnt happen. Soon enough, early next season at the latest, we will have a full interior Z run 10.99 or quicker with just a set of slicks thrown on, in the US...I can think of 3 gusy who I'd bet $$$ will do it

That car was only boosting 450whp when he hit the 10.9. For some reason that doesnt seem right with me. I have a good feeling there was a wind at his back and was heading downhill.

yeah, i dont think that is a stock motor G35 that ran 10.9 there is simply no way possible.

i HOPE there are many full interior 6MT Zs running 10.99 or better. i have not even began to run my car hard or launch it hard at all. i mean, 15.8 psi with a slipping clutch and trapping 129 is pretty good but the car is still in a MILD stage as far as power goes.

many people dont understand the difference in 11.5 and 11.0, this is the point where EVERYthing starts to matter, tire sizes, suspension, gearing, etc all come into play even more the lower ETs you get...

good luck to everyone, i was just having fun with the stock tranny but my clutch is pretty worked, there will be low 10 sec 6MTs for sure soon

alberto, i know you like to say all you can about my car blah blah blah about not being a street car. it is tagged and insured and i can pull right up next to you on the street with my 315 DRs. if you can find the official "street car guide" i would like to see a copy of it.

anyone you ask in the racing world will explain, there are Street cars, streetable and track cars... thats it. i have a streetable 350z, no more questions here...

jeremy.. who the hell cares dude.

What counts is your time slips (which you already have) and the fact that you can drive your car on the street, don't even bother about the haters, which they clearly are. Why can't they just be happy and stop bashing?

You seem like a very cool guy Alberto but you keep bringing up this street car thing... If you can roll up to the hang out in it, its a street car... I hear what your saying but a fuel cell and gutted interior is considered a race car??? Common my 87 fox body stang has a fuel cell and even had a battery mount in the trunck and drove that POS to work and back every day... And mounting on some skinnies and slicks at the track is just a tire change... I understand what you want to do which is just bolt on some slicks and go but this car is still a street car.. He even has a stock tranny and axles... How much more street can it be

Only time any of the "street car", "streetable", or "race car" crap matters to me is when I'm nego. a race. Otherwise....fack it.

What I posted was my opinion/thought on it, some will agree, others will flame me, its the way it goes. You cant take away Jeremy's time slip at the end of the day, and I especially love that hes on stock axles still. Like I said just an opinion, lets not turn this into a "WTF is a street car vs race car vs streetable" debate, although Im sure that would make a funny post....

Yea, no ****. People need to let go of his sack for a minute and try to listen objectively.

While we could argue the semantics of street/streetable cars all day. I've posted back and forth with "Audible" in the past about gutted interiors, 3 speed autos, etc. and my feelings on the subject (having lived through the transformation from street to streetable car myself and the grey area that defines it).

That said, I do appreciate him turning the times he has so far. Most of 350z's running those times have long since become drag queens. I'm glad to see him spending less energy talking about what his car should run and actually spending time at the track getting closer to that number.

My agreement with Alberto earlier was on his statement that there would be at least three frequent posters with "10-second" 350z's next Spring that are full Street Cars. Ooops, I used the term "Street Car".
