im n/a with some bolt ons and running 8.7 in 1/8th... 03 g35 coupe 5at, street tires..

 

here are my two best times from yesterday. I have intakes and I ran on street tires. better times to come hopefully.

 

Did you notice that you had the exact same time at 1000' on the second run as you did at the end of the 1/4 on the first run? My trap speed on a 13.7xx run is always around 98-99 mph. I have crappy trap speeds.

 

I'm not sure what you mean? On the second run my 1000' was 11.546 on my first run my 1/4 mile time was 13.735. Im new at breaking the time slips down so I might be missing something.

Good times, proving that a few simple bolt ons will bring 12's, one car at a time

 

I think a clutch that will hold is going to bring a stock 12.9, but we'll see.

I bet some of the bolt on guys, like Gooey, will make mid 12's.

 

those aremy goals for next drag race season. With a better clutch and a nice tune/reflash I think mid 12's is feasible with a better driver then me. Trust me Im ahorrible driver. Pretty consistent but still need alot of work on my launch technique and shifting

 

I wish you guys could convince everyone else who flamed me for saying that clutch/flywheel/diff/exhaust/TP's/Dr's/tune would get a 12.5 or close to it.

I thought I was gonna get laughed off the forum for saying that, but I agree with you Warren.

My weather tanked (low 60's at best) for this week, so I'm thinking I might get a 13.1 out of my car, but its really the last week I can go before January...

Thanks again! Cecil County Racetrack was pretty nice. You should venture out there 1 day Todd. It was very organized and not that many people. I got a total of 8 runs in that day and that included 2 big accidents. 1 person lost their rear end off the line and the 2nd person ran a 9second pass and ran into the wall towards the end.
