There is no rule. Its a friendly debate. Can a supercharged member post a time slip and say

This is my naturally aspired time. I removed the pulley belt?

Are you sure? Slower ET with higher trap implies that you had room for improvement. Faster ET with lower trap implies you drove better than what is expected - hence better driver.

If I had know that, I would have never posted and would have waited till I could run with nitrous.

I respect the rules and 3hree5ive0ero, so I withdrew my slips for the NA field.

I'll wait until I get to run with the nitrous working so there is no doubt.

I think it's kewl that they even offer the opportunity to get your name and times posted.
There's no such rule. Feel free to post up the N/A time, but do post another one that can back that one up. That way, we can see the consistency in your time slips.

Personally, I don't see my N/A time improving and I haven't been able to do so in a long time, so this rule (if it becomes effective) doesn't apply to me.

Yeah I'm sure. I like the 13.4 time better.

Thanks 3hree5ive0ero, but I respect the concerns and comments of the others in here.
Rule or not, it makes sense.

I am sure now that I did not ran the 13.4. I'm sure it was the Camaro that checked-in in front of me cause they wrote 1405E on his window, and then 1406E on mine, and gave me a card with that permanent number that's good for a year.
We both headed straight for the staging lanes and he ran before me, but I wasn't paying attention to his time, or the number on my slip. I didn't notice the number 1405E until I circled it to post on this site. But it explains my confusion at the time why I couldn't run that time again the rest of the night.

I have a couple more slips that are both 13.6's, but I want to wait until I can make some passes with the nitrous working, and then I'll post for the nitrous section.
I noticed there are only a few cars listed in there anyway.

Plus one of our vendors has taken on the MSD line, so I'm trying to talk him out of a "SAMPLE" MSD window switch, or a deep discount on one.

Hopefully I can get a new pb this friday since I seem to be stuck at 13.8 modded and unmodded. It sucks.

Your rank didn't change - nice. Is that part of the reason why you wanted it changed?

i ran 13.7 on my street tires with a 2.0 60 ft. what do you think i can get down to honestly with my mickey thompson et streets i just got. kind of trying to get a rough idea and not end up dissapointed. i went consistent 13.8's with 2.1 60ft's on the street tires but best time of 13.7 with 2.0. also thats not good for anything on the board is it, since i have nismo exhaust (which does nothing for power but i love the sound) and injen intake. on my 2003 touring. basically stock!! lol. . hopefully i get on it with the new tires

Depending how well you can launch on them I'd say up to a 1/4 second, more likely in the range of .1-.15, depends on any number of things.

really, i have been told half a second at least, i am just babying it out of the hole right now and spinning pretty good, then pretty good again shifting to second, chirping third and fourth. with the new tires will be able to launch much higher and not lose time between gears also. guess we shall see. like i said didn't want to be dissapointed so i will shoot for at least 1/4 off.

Went to the track and only got 2 runs in. My first run was a 13.85@100.50. My last run I finally got my first 1.9 60' and finally got a 102.43 trap but still ran a 13.83. WTF??? I removed my air filter my last run since it was dirty. My mods are no muffler and md 1/2 inch spacer. It sucks that i'm running the same times i ran stock. I'll be installing test pipes and an exhuast this week. Aslo there was a gtr there that ran 12.6.

It depends what your current tires weigh, and what kind of 330' times you're running. But I doubt you'll do better than like a 1.80ish 60' time, if you can get that (the stock clutch is more restrictive for me than grip was).

I was running 5.5-5.6 330's stock with low to mid 1.9 60's. Drag radials would likely give me room for a 1.8 60 and 5.3 330' now, so thats less than a 1/4 (just a guess).

i am not on stock clutch and my current rim and tire setup are 19's with 275's pretty heavy and horrible grip, i think i will pull 1.8's all day with these tires and rims. mickey thompson et streets are great and i will be able to launch a hell of alot higher and use first gear now.

I assume you've got a set of 17's that you're gonna be mounting them on, at street radials or bias ply (if bias ply please get matching fronts).

FWIW I'm on grand touring wheels/tires and saw about the same times as on the stock wheels. I'm hoping to get to the track before thanksgiving. My schedule is so very not open now.

You're definitely not going to see a .5 sec difference overall in the final ET - probably about .3xx.

If you're N/A, 1.8 is the lowest you'll probably go as far as 60', but if you've FI, you should be shooting for 1.7s.

Also, you shouldn't need to worry about getting matching bias ply skinnies, unless you're going 120+ down the strip. You'll definitely feel a difference the handling characteristics of the car down the strip with mismatching tire types, but nothing too bad for what you'll do on nitrous.

yeah .3xx will be a good gain from tires though, and 1.8's is what i am shooting for and yeah def. not going skinnies in the front, not yet at least...
