Default Best track time for opening day at Etown, NJ

Went to Englishtown NJ last night so I thought I'de share my best track time: (my car on the right)

Track was slippery cause it was cold out...but not too bad...I got 10 runs in but im not posting them all ...they range from 14.27-14.01...still gotta work on the launch(running on the stock tires) although I didnt think I could get a better launch last nite...track was so cold

ALSO...there was a black 2007 350Z...looked like a touring model...first time Ive' seen the hood in person..and it looks nice actually...looks more agressive...anyway...that car was running 13.5-13.6ish... yea the 07's are really nice...anyway...my mods are in my sig...both of them lol so it was a good nite even though I didn't break into the 13's lol

Yea.. 43º will kill your traction. That's not a bad time though. Practice more and I'm sure you'll be able to do better than high 2.1s for 60' even in cold weather.

Yea...Im not sure how to get a better 60ft...I heat the tires up by a 2nd gear burnout...launching at 3000RPM anything lower it bogs....andthing higher it spins away...my tires were at 14 psi stock potenza's 17 inch

14 psi is way too low. Stock psi is 35, so lowering it 20, while you may get initial traction, will drag you down also. And you just have to work the clutch as far as launching goes. All cars and drivers are different, so nobody can really tell you what will work for you and your car.

43 degrees and its tough to get traction on the staging pad especually at 6:30 PM. If the sun in on the pad at noon, maybe 2.0 seconds is possible.

Even though I lower them down...the tires dont even look like they changed shape... so i dont know if it even matters
