Default I replaced the soft top now won’t close

No issues with the roof prior to replacing the torn up roof, opens perfectly fine but when closing it won’t close the last couple 2-3 inches.

I've been parking it in the sun... still won't close all the way. Tried apply a little pressure and it did go an inch further. I opened it again and when I went to close it it was good at the front and now won't close at all at the back it will move about an inch each time I push the close button and gets half way and then nothing.....what have I done to it?

Did you replace it yourself? It's possible you installed it with too much tension on the rear part under the glass.

I did and it is quite tight but the old one had so many holes in it it was really loose. It will open all the way so I can drive it with the roof down but I seemed to have a real problem trying to close it now. Not sure what I should do next?

If you replaced the weather stripping, make sure it is is similar in size and securely in the fitted slot. I have had issues ever since my top was replaced.

Hi everyone,

Not to hijack your post but did you find a solution, as I am having the almost the same issue, there's a small gap between the top of the windshield and beginning of the convertible top causing all kinds of wind noise is there a way to adjust the top forward about 13mm or so to be fully closed thanks.

Sounds like the material was installed too tight or it still needs to stretch. There is no way to manually adjust it, It might be wrapped too tightly around the first bow.

Hi again,
I checked the material and it looks ok, I am looking for a PDF (NTB03-116) does anyone know where I can access it, I heard it could help but I just can't find it anywhere.
