Default PB: finally did it!!!

I finally broke my horrible 60ft times of 2.2. I'll have my time slip scanned and posted up later when i get home. Here are my 2 best runs of the day out of about 6 runs. Heat soak is a biotch(90+ degress outside), my times just kept getting lower the more runs i did. Plus these runs are on my heavy a$$ 19's.

1st run:
R/T .410
60FT:2.096
TRAP: 81.6
E/T: 8.813

2ND RUN:
R/T: .627
60FT: 2.178
TRAP: 79.9
E/T: 9.067

Good work. We tell racers time and time again that 2.0 seconds are possible on street tires. You don't need drag radials or some complicated technique. All that you need is practice to perfect your time.

Congrats! Those are some pretty nice times. They would work out to a pretty good ET in the 1/4 mile. Now keep practicing so it becomes second nature to you!

can anyone estimate the 1/4 mile time i would probably be running with my best run?

I figure maybe 13.7, 13.8 maybe?

It typically takes 4.9sec for most bolton/stock Z to cover the backhalf.

So your best time would have likely turned out to a 13.7.

And your second run would have been somewhere in the 13.9 range.
