Is it you or is it the car?
First I am impressed with your 60 foot times. Not the actual time, but the consistency. 2.17 and 2.16 is damn consistent, and that is what you are aiming for.
ET is a different story. 13.90 and 13.77 seconds shows that you are doing something different after the first 60 feet. If the car will run 13.90, then 13.77, most likely it will run 13.64 or better. So the conclusion is that its you. Push that bad boy!
Edit: 77 percent humidity is not ideal for traction. One run in the right lane, and one in the left, and your 60 foot times are essentially the same. I say that your launching technique is on the money. A better day with better traction and you will see 2.0 seconds.

I bet you you go back on a different day, and with better air and slightly better traction you'll see 13.5-13.6 easy, if not better.
Sometimes there is nothing you can do to get better times when mother nature is not favorable. 77% humidity sucks for drag racing, even if temperatures are down; the air quality is poor because oxygen levels are low.

i just remembered that i had my AC on during the 13.9 run, i run AC while i'm while i'm waiting to help cool with that extra fan running, and when i went to turn it off, i didn't put it all the way to off, but instead to "auto" so i kept AC on but the fan got much quieter so i didn't notice it was still on.
holy run on sentence batman
i also power shifted 2-3 and 3-4 on the faster run, and power shifted only 3-4 on the slower run
alberto
how can it be my launch if it's better than jdfolco's but the time and trap is worse, i know my launch could use impovement, but it doesn't explain the time difference
i think it was more due to the humidity
and as far as traction goes, humidity didn't hurt my there, track prep was awsome, really really sticky, there were plenty of 9 sec runs to prove that, and one 8 sec, and a few 7 sec from those long dragsters with huge 500+ cube motors
looking to go back on may 4th, hopefully the condition will be better

I agree your launch was just fine.
But again, I think the main thing separating you from jdfolco is the track conditions. Different track, different weather play a big role. It's impossible to get an accurate comparison of two cars who run on two different tracks even if both are at sea level.
Again, go back on another day with better air, and you will run faster and trap higher. No doubt.
And running with A/C definitely doesn't help as the compressor will rob you probably of 5-7whp at the very least.

It is hard to compare it to other cars. There is such a limited amount too. Once more 07s are bought, and taken to the track, there will be much more of an "average" 1/4 time.
Good luck on your next time out!

Search 07 dyno and 2007 dyno, and you'll see similar results.
